I will never forget the calls that I received from the staff that showed a sincere compassion and desire to help someone that needed help almost in disregard of their well being. In the end, my dad had to be transferred to a psychiatric hospital for further care. I was amazed by their sincere concern for his well being under (let me say) very difficult conditions that he presented them with. They were always apologetic when things didn't go well (which was not their fault). The staff treated my dad better than I would have. This place is by far the BEST place for care. I have never written a review for a rehab or nursing home, and I am familiar with some since both my parents have gone to various locations. He is combative, dangerous to himself and to the nursing staff. He has many other psychiatric issues that was going to be challenging for this facility to manage. Pure chaos, no rules, limited food options and long lines.My dad came here for rehab after a stint at the hospital with COVID. Thank goodness my son is older (9) if he was younger I would have been a complete panicked wreck. It really seemed like a hazard how many kids were here at one time. The staff are very friendly, but there is no limit to how many people are allowed at one time. One of the kids in our group pooped his pants due to having to wait in the bathroom line so long and other bathrooms being closed for no reason. So the 2nd day we brought water bottles in and refilled them. They had a jug of water available but we didn’t learn that until later. One of our group actually felt faint due to lack of access to water and the lines were so long to buy water. The waterpark area is super heated and humid. The waterpark has life guards which is nice, but there are so many kids, the chlorine is so strong you could smell it and some people NOT in the pool complained of the air burning their eyes. If it was heated, it would have added additional space and could have helped with the overcrowding. They did light some fire pits outside, but it is the middle of winter and that would have been nice in the summer. Picture 25 classrooms of kids in one small area. Couldn’t find a place to sit that wasn’t over run with screaming children jumping, running, yelling or doing cartwheels. There are no lounging areas, we wanted to hang out with the adults of our team and have a beer. Your options are: pizza, burgers, chicken strips and hot dogs.

I did download the app with helped order food quicker, but door dash seemed to be the smarter way to get a variety of food. Not to mention the lines are extremely long and not a single employee works at a quick speed. So if you or your child eats with any restrictions it is very difficult. There are very limited restaurants: pizza, burgers, doughnuts, ice cream, candy and one restaurant you have to make reservations for. There are basically no rules, kids are climbing on the fences, the tables and going/doing anything they want. There are so many kids here it is overwhelming.
